The Dawna J. Colbert & John Fitzpatrick Scholarship is an initiative by the Technology Concept Groups International (TCGi) Foundation aimed at increasing representation of Black women in technology and computing fields.
This scholarship program supports students who are pursuing academic careers in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Engineering. It recognizes both graduating high school seniors and current college or graduate students who are committed to building careers in the technology sector.
The program consists of two distinct awards:
- The Dawna J. Colbert Scholarship โ designed for graduating high school seniors preparing to begin their college education.
- The John Fitzpatrick Scholarship โ intended for students already enrolled in a college or graduate-level program.
By supporting talented students from underrepresented backgrounds, the TCGi Foundation aims to help cultivate the next generation of diverse technology professionals and leaders.

Recipients of this scholarship may receive financial assistance to support their academic studies, including:
- Up to $10,000 total scholarship funding
- $2,500 per semester awarded to eligible recipients
- Funds may be used toward tuition and other educational expenses
- Support continues for students attending a four-year institution, subject to eligibility and enrollment verification
Scholarship payments are issued once the student provides proof of enrollment at an accredited higher education institution.
